Growing our brains and bodies at PMP

This term for our physical education we have PMP (Perceptual Motor Programme) in the Pukeko room twice a week. This programme helps us with balance, ball skills, hand eye coordination, memory training and eye tracking.

During this activity the boys are carefully rolling the ball to one another. They are following the ball with their eyes and are reading to catch it.

During this activity Ethan and Henry are practising the underarm throw by trying to get the bean bags into each of the hoops. Great shot boys!

This is our eye-tracking station. The leader gets to drop the ball while the others try their best to follow the ball with their eyes. The group did a wonderful job of following their leaders instructions.

During this station, we have to walk like moneys and climb through without touching the shapes!

This is a memory activity that helps us to grow our brains!
Each of the circles has a picture on it and we have to remember the order that the leader tells us. Then we have to say it out loud and jump on each one. Well done Blakely for remembering all of the symbols!
